KALSUBAI TREK
Kalsubai Peak Is Also Known As The "Mount Everest Of Maharashtra". Its summit, situated at an elevation of 1,646 metres (5,400 ft), is the highest point in Maharashtra. The mountain range lies within the Kalsubai-Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. It is visited throughout the year by avid trekkers, Kalsubai temple devotees and wildlife enthusiasts. It is named after one of the three tribal sisters Kalsubai, Ratnabai and Katrabai. The other peak Ratangad is named after Ratnabai.The mountain can be viewed in its entirety from Bari village located on its eastern side, about six km (3.7 mi) from Bhandardara. Trekking:- Kalsubai is a 13.2 km-long (8.2 mi) round-trip trek from Bari, with an elevation gain of around 2,700 feet (820 m). This is a one-day trek having a moderately hard difficulty level, with lush green landscapes and multiple waterfalls.[6] The peak attracts many trekkers and devotees determined to scale the mountain. To reach the summit there are well-designated trekking routes. The most popular route is through the eastern mountain face taking off from the base village Bari.
HARISHCHANDRAGAD
At a distance of 8 km from Khireshwar, 50 km from Bhandardara, 166 km from Pune & 218 km from Mumbai, Harishchandragad is a historical hill fort situated in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The height of the fort is 1,424 meters. Harishchandragad is very popular place for trekking in Maharashtra and also one of the famous Bhandardara tourist places. Harishchandra Fort is a hill fort in the Ahilyanagar in Nashik district of India. Its history is linked with that of Malshej Ghat, Kothale village and it has played a role in guarding and controlling the surrounding region. ANJANERI
Anjaneri is an attraction of Nasik city, which is also an important fort in the Trimbakeshwar region. Situated at 4,264 feet (1,300 m) above sea level, it lies between Nasik and Trimbakeshwar near Godavari river. It neighbors the Brahmagiri range, significant in Hindu traditions as meditation spot of Sage Gautam. Anjaneri is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, and is named after Lord Hanuman's mother, Anjani. The Anjaneri Fort Trek is a 30 minute trek. Once you reach the fort, you will be amazed by the beautiful views. You will see temples and caves that you will love. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes because the stairs can get a bit slippery in the rainy season. You will also have a nice picnic spot at the plain area. Kalavantin Durg
It is located in Maharashtra, near the Prabalgad Fort. The mountain is also known as Kalavantinicha Suulka, Kelve Teen and Kalavantin Pinnacle. It is one of India’s most difficult climbs. Kalawantin is another name for the mountain, as well as the alternative transliteration Kalavanti.. Trekkers love Kalavantin Durg’s 2,250ft summit. The main attraction of this trek is the climb to Kalavantindurg’s pinnacle. The majority of the day will be spent outside, so take your time and be careful. You will be able to climb the steep and slippery slopes using the zigzag staircase. A guide is recommended for those who have experience with trekking. From the summit, you can enjoy stunning views of Prabalgad. The final climb to the pinnacle’s top is very dizzying. The steps that lead down to the waterfalls and rocky terrain are both very exciting and dangerous.
